Meet Our Team

Suzy moved here from Albuquerque in 1988.  As a trained assistant with a passion for orthodontics, it didn’t take long for her to fit in with this team.  Now with the title of Clinical Supervisor, she has taken on and welcomes the added responsibility.  When she isn’t working hard at the office you can find Suzy at a shooting range, hunting or at a livestock show with her husband and their two children.

Kari joined our team in 1992 after being a patient herself, working first as a receptionist and then being convinced to try assisting.  Kari helps the office stay current with OSHA and HIPAA requirements and is also a trainer for new assistants.  In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at the races or at the baseball field.

Tara has been an orthodontic assistant since 2002.  She loves getting to know and developing strong relationships with her patients and their parents.  Along with Tara’s clinical skills, her talents in flower arranging and promotion ideas for fun patient giveaways keep her busy.  Tara enjoys spending quality time with her family and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.  She holds certifications in:

Melissa has been a great addition to our clinical team since joining us in 2007.  Her compassion and friendliness help make patients feel at ease while going through treatment.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and visiting her family in Michigan as often as possible.  She holds certifications as:

Jentry is the newest member of our team. Born and raised in Mountainair, NM she came to Las Cruces in 2020 to attend NMSU.  After completing a year at NMSU she decided to change career paths and enrolled in an Orthodontic Assisting Program in Albuquerque. While doing an internship here in our office we realized what a good fit she was with our team. In her spare time, she loves to spend time outdoors especially hunting with her family.

Cindy has been our treatment coordinator since 1999.  She holds a degree in Marketing from New Mexico State University.  She loves meeting and helping new patients learn how to achieve their goal of a beautiful smile.  Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, traveling, working in the yard and reading.  Cindy is certified in:

• Dental Radiography

Carol has been our Financial Coordinator since 1999.  She graduated with a degree in Psychology from New Mexico State University.  After living in Carlsbad, NM for 20 years she returned to Las Cruces to be closer to family.  With her management experience, she keeps the financial side of our office running like a well-oiled machine.  Carol enjoys working in the garden, lunch on Saturdays with her two sisters and visiting friends in Carlsbad.

Jamie joined our front desk team in 2016.  Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting people and keeping the front desk organized is her specialty. Jamie is certified in CPR and a licensed cosmetologist.  Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children.  In her spare time, Jamie enjoys volunteering at her church, serving others and baking.

Roma has been a part of the front desk team since 1996.  Her friendly and outgoing personality make people feel right at home.  Roma is the perfect fit as one of your first impressions of our office.  Along with her skills at the front desk, she helps with the filing of insurance claims and sends out new patient packets.  Roma loves traveling, spending time with her two grandchildren, walking with a friend in the early mornings before work and staying involved with her church group.

Originally from northern New Mexico, Michelle has called Las Cruces home for over 25 years, with the exception of a brief move to Brooklyn, NY.  Bringing a strong background in customer service and experience in the insurance industry for over 25 years, we welcomed her to our front desk staff in 2016.  Michelle enjoys meeting and helping people, traveling and learning about other cultures.  Michelle is an avid reader and volunteers her time as a bible study instructor.
